If you suspect you may have ADHD and want to pursue an assessment, here's the pathway to follow.

First, discuss your concerns with your doctor, and if necessary, ask to be referred to the Adult ADHD NHS Assessment Service.

Alternatively, you can explore a Private Assessment. There are many national organisations to choose from. However, if you wish to take medications, you will need to ask your GP if they will prescribe medications on a share-care agreement once your psychiatrist has titrated you.

What our clients have to say
Jayne from Manchester
My first session was amazing. It was the first step toward teaching me to focus my energies and begin to move forward. Bernadette has a calm and comforting aura and enables you to share in a secure and safe space. Already making changes in my approach to challenging hurdles.
Hannah from Japan
Bernadette has helped me to work out steps of action that I need to take to be able to overcome problems I was facing, particularly in tackling paperwork. She had plenty of ideas and suggestions which I found very helpful, and she helped me to break down the bigger tasks into smaller steps which felt more manageable.
I have found the coaching sessions really helpful. Bernadette is easy to talk to and helps you to explore your difficulties and work towards solutions. With Bernadette's guidance I have made some changes in my life to help me deal with the challenges I face having ADHD. This has made me feel less anxious and subsequently feel in a better mental space to try and deal with other difficulties I have.~ Jenny
Ryan from Chorley
As an initial meeting, it was great. I believe I already have a good knowledge of ADHD through my own experiences and research.
However, Bernadette seems to hold a lot of the answers for me adding more structure to my life. I’m looking forward to future sessions
Hayley from Burnley
Really informative and non-judgemental group sessions. When in the process of a possible diagnosis (or even after a diagnosis) it’s really difficult to know what information is useful and trusted. Within the group the information is made clear and concise and it’s always comforting to hear other people’s experiences. The group is very relaxed and open and was really enjoyable to attend. I will definitely be attending future group sessions.
John from Preston
I have been working with Bernadette for the past two months. During her coaching sessions, I am learning a lot about how my ADHD has been affecting me. Bernadette has given me some useful tools to use when I become overwhelmed with my workload to reduce my procrastination. Looking forward to learning more about myself and my ADHD!
